Another visit to Seaham hall beach, fast becoming a favourite, we walked right to the end until we ran out of beach, we found a stack and a cliff with a hole, a local chap told us it is Bessies hole and it’s getting bigger due to erosion . . . . Who is this mysterious Bessie, and what is her link to the hole?
