Wave after wave
Whenever possible I make my way to the coast, North Yorkshire , Northumberland and North Devon are my regular haunts, I find the coastal environment enspiring and the coast, sea and waves are a recurring theme in my drawing and print making.

These two prints were made for an exhibition called "wish I was there" they were exhibited by Network Rail as we came out of the first lockdown and are now at the Railway Museum in York.
The top one is Sandsend, near Whitby.
The second one is of Dunstanborough Castle in Northumberland.
I made small editions of each.
Planning for printmaking Sketches of the beach near Seaham, drawn in winter when it was deserted, love the eerie feel.
Polar bear Blues.
This print was created for the Explorers against Extinction annual charity auction 'sketch for survival'. I was shortlisted and exhibited at the OXO gallery in London before being auctioned.
These 4 printing plates were made to be printed overlapping and displaced to achieve a variety of wave effects.
