Drawn from life

A major inspiration for my prints is life drawing which I do regularly. As the focus of my work at Leeds Arts University I explored ways of developing prints from the drawings with a focus on movement and abstraction.

During lockdown life drawing went online, the drawings of Mariano were based on his online modelling.

The print above is a dry-point, it was exhibited at Wakefield artwalk, also during lockdown where shop windows were used to display the artwork for people to walk round and view.

These prints of runway models were based on papercuts rather than drawings.
